Thank You Camp Smore Sponsors and Volunteers

A little rain did not stop the over 60 families that joined us for fun outdoor activities and a good marshmallow roasting over fire pits at our Camp S’more event August 5th and 6th. We want to take this opportunity to thank our very generous sponsors – REI, Virginia Mason, and Wolf Camp – for helping us make Camp S’more a success. There were other valuable contributors including Campfire Coffee and MiiR cups whose donations made this a very special event.

Beyond our sponsors, FLSSP would like to thank Lake Sammamish State Park (LSSP) staff and FLSSP volunteers who made this a night to remember. The Junior Ranger and ARTdoors activities put on by LSSP staff were wildly popular with both kids and adults. Our volunteers spent time educating campers on fire building and park history during our campfire program and we had a fantastic sing-along to close it out.
