Parkadilly returns July 23 with headline entertainer Tim Noah

Emmy-winning children’s entertainer Tim Noah will head an all-star line-up of music and dance at this summer’s Parkadilly at Lake Sammamish kids' concert, fair & fun! Also on stage will be Ian Dobson and his Caribbean steel drums, teaching kids how to drum along with him. Hoopsmiles will give a dizzying performance of hula hoop wonders, then share hula hoops with the audience to let them test their own skills. And back by popular demand from 2016 are the Rhythms of India Bollywood dancers who will invite the crowd to move along with them. The children’s fair had nearly 2,000 attendees last summer. New activities will be added this year included a community build of an art sculpture created from recycled materials led by Materials Artist and Environmentalist Gabi Phillips. Parkadilly is a free event for the whole family (with daily park admission or Discover Pass). Plan a day in the park noon- 5 p.m. Sunday, July 23. Junior Ranger programs, a nature scavenger hunt, trampolines, kid-centric booths, children’s story times, costumed characters, concessions and more are all part of the fun. Don’t miss the raffle and a chance to win four passes to Disneyland! Thanks to title sponsor Virginia Mason Issaquah and presenting sponsor Bright Horizons. Playground Update – Oct. 19, 2016

The playground is open! About 200 people came out in the rain on Oct. 15 to help recognize the donors, meet the WARM Radio bear and Woody from Toy Story, eat cookies and cut the ribbon. But mostly they came to swing and slide and jump and climb and explore the playground! So far, the playground has nothing but rave reviews!
