Lake Sammamish State Park

Lake Sammamish State Park is a 512-acre day-use park with 6,858 feet of waterfront on Lake Sammamish. The area around the lake was an important culture zone for local Native American tribes for centuries. The park provides deciduous forest and wetland vegetation for the enjoyment of visitors. A salmon-bearing creek and a great-blue-heron rookery are additional features.

Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park Annual Celebration

Friends, stakeholders, supporters and volunteers are invited to join us on Thursday, September 28 at The Rotunda at Lake Sammamish State Park from 5:30pm -7:00pm for fun, food and drink. Learn about all of the exciting FLSSP projects and get a preview of what's to come in 2018. Festivities include a hike of the native plant trail, farewell to Head Ranger Rick Benson and brief remarks from FLSSP President John Sherwin.
