FLSSP Seeks Part-Time Operations Manager

Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park (FLSSP) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to promote and enhance Lake Sammamish State Park facilities and events. This is a contract position. 

The Operations Manager will support the daily operations of the organization. This year-round, part-time position involves of a variety of duties assigned with guidance and direction from FLSSP Board leadership. The operations manager works closely with the executive director.

Requirements: Relevant education and experience, Washington State Patrol background clearance, excellent interpersonal skills, strong computer and organizational skills. Experience with social media. Flexibility and a good sense of humor appreciated.

Availability: Weekdays and some evenings and weekends, flexible hours. Work is for an average 12-15 hours per week (not to exceed 750 hours annually) unless approved by the FLSSP Board. A few office and meeting hours, but most from home.

Reports to: FLSSP Board of Directors.

Duties: Systems/ database management, event support, volunteer coordination, social media management, community engagement, communications and other duties as assigned.

The operations manager will manage our CRM system, website and Facebook communications, coordinate vendors at fundraising events, reach out to local businesses and other organizations regarding partnerships, plan and execute meeting details, take meeting notes, create online surveys, work closely with the FLSSP Executive Director and state park staff, and a myriad of other tasks as needed.
