Volunteer Opportunities at the Park

As the weather warms, we are able to offer several opportunities to volunteer at the park in March.

We are hosting habitat restoration events on Sunday, March 7 and Sunday, March 21. The work consists of weeding, removing invasive species and planting.

To comply with COVID regulations, we have scheduled two shifts for each event. We can accommodate 12 volunteers per each two-hour shift .Refreshments and tools provided.

All activities will be held in accordance with King County and Washington State COVID regulations.

Event Details:

Location: All-Access Playground/Other sites in the park (Meet at all access playground)

How to be prepared:

For safety, volunteers are required to wear:

  • Long pants made of sturdy material

  • Sturdy, close-toed shoes

  • Gloves

  • mask

In addition, we recommend that participants bring:

  • Warm layers, especially during the fall, winter, and spring

  • Rain gear

  • Big sack lunch

  • Long-sleeved shirt

  • At least one full water bottle
