Help Snoqualmie Tribe Protect Public Lands

The Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife is asking for public input on their 10-year Recreation Strategy for the lands they manage in Washington State.

You can help support the Snoqualmie Tribe Ancestral Lands Movement by providing your public comment, and in doing so, asking for WDFW to do these three things.

  1. To not expand or open additional areas for recreation until existing impacts can be mitigated

  2. To establish meaningful consultation and co governance with the tribal governments in Washington

  3. To include monitoring of the impact recreation has on cultural and natural resources that are of significance to the Snoqualmie and other Washington Tribes

The deadline for the public to submit their comment is Feb 9th- to do so please submit comments online here https://publicinput.com/10YearRecStrategy, or email them at 10YearRecStrategy@PublicInput.com
