State Parks Looking for Park Hosts
Do you love camping, working with people and waking up in Washington state parks?
If this describes you, then become a Park Host! Hosting is one of the most popular volunteer opportunities as hosts help State Parks connect all Washingtonians to their diverse natural and cultural heritage and provide memorable recreational and educational experiences.
Hosts assist park staff in campground and park operations and assist visitors by providing park information, answering questions, and explaining rules. Hosts are provided a designated RV site and utilities during their volunteer service. Become a host and join a supportive community of volunteers and staff who serve the public and our public lands.
Park hosts must be at least 18 years old, commit to staying 30 days per park and pass a criminal background check. They use their own RV and are given a designated RV site and utilities during their service. Please note Park Hosts are only needed at State Parks with overnight camping.
Check out the Park Host Page for details on how to apply.
