Washington State Parks Launches New Website

Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission has launched a new website parks.wa.gov. The new website was designed as response to the years of feedback from park visitors wanting improved information and ease of use. The Commission received nearly 400 comments on the new design leading them to develop new features that allow for a more inclusive and accessible website.

The new website features allow visitors to:

• Easily find the parks they are interested in visiting based on location, amenities and other options;

• Access information using assistive technology;

• An improved and easy to find reservation system; and

• Information about parks that you want to visit to allow you to better understand what to expect when you visit the park.

We are excited about these new features and how they showcase the wonderful opportunities here at our home park - Lake Sammamish State Park. We encourage you to visit the new website and explore all the opportunities that our Washington State Parks have to offer.
