Be Part of Art in the Park at Parkadilly

Local artist Gabi Phillips will be facilitating the recycled art project for the Parkadilly event on July 23rd at Lake Sammamish Park. Participants will help create a piece made entirely out of recycled materials such as plastic bottles and plastic shopping bags. The art piece, designed by Gabi, will be a blooming tree which will grow as more participants make and add flowers to the tree.  Gabi hopes to convey the importance of the recycling motto "Reduce - Reuse - Recycle" and encourage sustainability through her amazing art. So kids of all ages are welcome to come and help us grow the tree while enjoying a fun family event!

We need bags and bottles for this activity. Please drop them off at the Recology Store in Issaquah at 317 NW Gilman Blvd. We need several volunteers to help Gabi at the event. If you would like to help, please sign up here.
