Walkers ‘n Waggers raise $2000 for all-access Playground!
More than 100 walkers and doggies came to the park March 19 for the first ever Walk ‘n Wag at Lake Sammamish State Park. The purpose was to have fun and raise funds for the all-access playground coming this spring/summer. More than $2000 was raised! Thank you to all the walkers and waggers and to our major sponsors: VCA Alpine Animal Hospital, Wagly, The Issaquah Press and all those who had booths that day to engage our walkers at the Doggie Village: Mud Bay, Chasing Rabbits Dog Bakery, Home Buddies, Volunteers for Issaquah Schools, VOYA, Riverdog, House Pet Vet, Dr. Taryn Rathbone. Many thanks to raffle prize donors: Seattle Seahawks, Voya, Pet Pros of Newcastle, The Grange, All the Best, Dr. Taryn Rathbone. Thanks to Talking Rain for providing bottled water!
