Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park (FLSSP) in collaboration with Eastside Audubon, will offer two birding walks for children. Scheduled dates are April 13 & April 20. (PLEASE NOTE THAT THE APRIL 20 WALK IS FULL)

The first half hour will consist of instruction about birding etiquette, bird identification, using field guides, birding apps and binoculars. This is followed by 1+ hour walk in the park to see what birds are there concluding with a Q&A session.

Bring binoculars if you have them; loaners will be available if you don't. The trip is open to children ages 8+. All children under age 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

The trip is free but limited to 10 people (5 children/5 adults) and pre-registration is required. Contact Jennifer Adut at director@flssp.org to register or with questions.
