Holi Fesival of Color

The non-profit Ravishing Women and Washington State Parks Folk Arts Program invite the public to attend the annual Eastside Friends and Family Holi Festival of Color to welcome spring at Lake Sammamish State Park.

Holi is a traditional Indian celebration of love, fertility, color, as well as the triumph of good versus evil. Holi marks the end of winter and welcomes the spring season. The day’s family-friendly activities will include the throwing of color, a DJ, live performances, food, kids’ activities and Bollywood dance.  

Holi Festival at Lake Sammamish State Park  benefits Ravishing Women, a 501c(3) non profit organization dedicated to helping women improve their quality of life by creating educational and professional opportunities. For more information visit www.ravishingwomen.org

A Discover Pass is required to enter the park and can be purchased online or at the park.

Collaborative partners include Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park, FISH (Friends of the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery), Washington State Parks Foundation, City of Issaquah Arts & Culture Commission, and the Issaquah Chapter of Trout Unlimited.
