Grab your loved ones and head out to Lake Sammamish State Park for a fun and romantic walk down lovers lane. Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park has set up a walk lined with famous and not so famous love poems from around the world.  Enjoy the natural beauty of the park while exploring the traditions and history of Valentine’s Day. To sweeten the experience, the first 75 registrants get a free box of chocolates from Boehm’s Candies!

The walk begins at Tibbetts Beach bathhouse and continues along the lakeshore.  Signage along the way showcases the love poems.  Follow the signs through the woods where a photo opportunity awaits you.  

Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park has created a series of do-it-yourself “Walks in the Park” in 2021 to educate, entertain and bring people outside in a safe way in 2021, each with a different theme.
