Stream Bugs with the Greenway Education Program

Join a Greenway Educator to collect stream bugs (aquatic macroinvertebrates) from Tibbetts Creek and find out what they can tell us about salmon stream health.

The program kicks off with a short overview of macroinvertebrates and Kokanee salmon, followed by 20 minutes of collecting and identifying stream bugs. We will end by drawing pictures of the bugs we found. (Participants are encouraged to bring their drawings home!). Program is limited to 10 children.

Free and open to the public. THIS EVENT IS AT CAPACITY AND NO LONGER TAKING NEW PARTICIPANTS.
