Salmon Day festivities begin this Saturday, Oct. 1 when this year’s parade kicks-off at 10 a.m. from the Issaquah Community Center. There will also be live musical performances at the community center all day on Oct. 1 and Oct. 2.
The FLSSP booth will be located on the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery grounds during the festival. Come by to say hello and ask us about all of the work we are doing to enhance, preserve and protect Lake Sammamish State Park. The Kiwanis Club of Issaquah will again host their famous Salmon BBQ at Gibson Hall and there will be beer gardens for community members to enjoy beers, ciders & wine.
This year the festival will host over 50 food vendors representing foods from around the world and 300 juried arts and crafts vendors, as well as another 65 non-profit vendors.
On both Saturday and Sunday dogs will compete in the Puget Sound Dockdogs jumping competition.
