Wolf Camp Sponsors Camp S’more

Friends of Lake Sammamish is excited to have the support of Wolf Camp for our Camp Smore 2023! Wolf Camp programs have become known to families around Lake Sammamish as transformational experiences that provide participants with the skills needed to connect with the natural world. Their classes, summer camps, and outdoor leadership trainings focus on wilderness survival skills, nature awareness, wildlife tracking, traditional crafts, ethnobotany, and ecology based on an ethic of conservation.

Wolf Camp has been running programs at Lake Sammamish State Park for the past decade. Camp directors, Ansley Roberts and Matt Hale, will be on site throughout the event to share their expertise with Camp S’more participants, including educational displays and spontaneous nature walks among the diverse plants and wildlife living at Lake Sammamish State Park.

We’re thrilled that their mission aligns with ours: to support outdoor access, camping, and all that nature has to offer in our community.

Our mutual hope is that the memories from Camp S’more are shared around the campfire for generations to come!
