Volunteer Spotlight on Chuck Nykriem

Chuck Nykriem has been instrumental in facilitating many hours of habitat restoration at the park. A retired director of special education (for 40 years) , Chuck loves spending time outside and truly values our beautiful park.

He currently lives close by with his lovely wife Noel. Chuck has helped immensely with the habitat restoration program as he is a capable and generous volunteer who rarely says no to an opportunity to help.

Chuck, pictured here with his wife Noel, was recognized as the FLSSP Volunteer of the Year at the annual picnic this past September.
