Special Holiday Geocaches Coming to the Park

Looking for a safe, fun family friendly activity you can do outside this winter? Try geocaching, a treasure hunt you can do with your phone or GPS!

Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park, in partnership with Visit Issaquah and Washington State Geocaching Association, has hidden several brand new holiday themed geocaches in the park for you to find!

And, in addition to the new geocaches, you can still access ten virtual geocaches with the Adventure Lab Experience in the park.

There are 10 adventure lab locations around the park for you to find. You’ll discover new places in the park and learn about park wildlife, history and habitat. Every place has a secret clue for you to find and report back to us. Find all ten and get a sweet treat from Coldstone Creamery Issaquah.

To get started with both the holiday geocaches or the Adventure Lab, visit https://www.geocaching.com or sign in at https://labs.geocaching.com/. The Adventure Lab is ready for participants while the holiday caches will be live mid December.
