FLSSP 2023 Annual Report is Available Online
The Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park’s 2023 Annual Report is now available online! The report is a handy summary of all we accomplished in 2023, clearly highlights how those accomplishments tie to our mission and vision, provides an overview of our finances, and is a way for our organization to publicly thank our partners, sponsors, and corporate and community donors. We also owe a debt of gratitude to the 340 volunteers who generously donated the gift of their time to improving the park in 2023.

I’m excited to report that FLSSP had incredible year in 2023, thanks to the support of our dedicated community, who inspire me every day to continue volunteering for this small but mighty organization. While we celebrated our 10th anniversary, hosted community events large and small, engaged volunteers in habitat restoration and park clean-ups, supported accessible trail design improvements, and educated our community and park visitors, we also strengthened our organizational structure and capacity. We hired a new Executive Director and Operations Manager, added 8 new board members who bring a variety of strengths and passions to our board, and adopted our first 3-year strategic plan to guide our work going forward. Thanks to your support throughout our first 10 years, FLSSP is stronger than ever, and we are excited to bring more improvements and programming to this park that serves as an urban oasis. We are excited for you to join us for all that is ahead!
