Calling All Dogs and Dog Friends to Walk ‘n’ Wag 2024

FLSSP will be hosting the 8th annual Walk ‘n’ Wag event at Lake Sammamish State Park on Saturday, May 4th from 10 am – 2 pm. Walk ‘n’ Wag is the biggest dog party on the Eastside and FLSSP welcomes all friends of dogs and spectators to attend this fun animal focused event.

Walk ‘n’ Wag will kick off with a 3K walk in Lake Sammamish State Park to let our dogs and dog families explore the park. FLSSP will also host Doggie Village from 10 am to 2 pm on the Meadows Shelter lawn. Our vendor registration for our Doggie Village at Walk ‘n’ Wag 2024 is now open for those who have animal focused businesses, items and information, or animal focused non-profits. To sign up for a booth in our Doggie Village please register here. Registration for a vendor booth in the Doggie Village will be open through April 5th.  For any questions about vendor registration for Walk ‘n’ Wag 2024 please contact FLSSP Operations Manager, Sarah, at operations@flssp.org.

If you are interested in attending Walk ‘n’ Wag with your dog family or just to get in on all the fur-fun as a spectator registration is now open. Your registration gives you a dog pass and two human companion tickets so don’t let the zoomies get you past this fun event. The event will include a 3k walk, a Banner Bank sponsored dog contest, entertainment, food and much more.

All proceeds from this tail wagging event will go toward the FLSSP general fund to support projects and amenities at Lake Sammamish State Park. Over the course of last year, proceeds from our FLSSP hosted events helped restore 2.5 acres of the park, the planting of over 150 trees, the replacement of 8 shade trees, and much more. We are so grateful for our community’s support for FLSSP events through registration. We welcome any additional donations at time of registration that will be directed to our Park Improvement Fund specifically allocating monies toward trail maintenance, improving accessibility, and working on restoring Lake Sammamish State Park lands.

We look forward to seeing all the wonderful dogs and their friends and families at our 8th annual Walk ‘n’ Wag event. Don’t wait register today!
