Volunteer Opportunities at the Park

Come to Lake Sammamish State Park with a team of colleagues or friends and help restore the park by removing invasive species and planting native trees and bushes. Areas that have been previously restored and planted with native plants also need continued maintenance to prevent the re-establishment of invasive blackberry. Make a big difference, enjoy a day outside with this fun, hands-on opportunity and learn about invasive species and all that is being done to restore areas of the park to their natural beauty. For more information about organizing a group, contact Peter Walters at Peter. Walters@WA.PARKS.GOV.
