Welcome Joy Kacoroski, new park naturalist
Joy Kacoroski will be working this summer at Lake Sammamish as the new interpretive specialist. Joy grew up in the Seattle area, though moved away for her undergraduate and graduate degrees. Over the last seven years Joy has worked as a Park Ranger for the National Park Service and United States Forest Service. Most recently, she worked in Zion National Park managing the park's Junior Ranger Program. Joy is extremely excited to be back in the Pacific Northwest and looks forward to working at Lake Sammamish State Park connecting visitors to the park. We will let you know soon about the programming she will be offering this summer.
