Lake Sammamish Perch-a Thon is Fun and Good for the Lake

Register today for Trout Unlimited’s Perch-A-Thon and help remove invasive yellow perch from Lake Sammamish. Perch eat baby salmon, are fun to catch and delicious to eat so come fishing and help remove them from the lake.

After you register, ask family and friends to pledge a cash amount for each perch you catch.  Have them make their pledges online and then join us at the boat launch on November 9th for the fishing derby.

There will be prizes for participants in the following categories: heaviest perch, most perch caught, most unique pledges, and most money raised.  All net proceeds from the event will be donated to Project Healing Waters, an organization who takes our local disabled veterans fishing every year.

It’s a win-win for everyone! Fish, help out our native salmon, support veterans and win prizes!

Please register at https://go.rallyup.com/bituperchathon

Early Registration ($30) ends October 15, Late Registration ($40) ends November 8.
