Salmon SEE-son Photo Contest
Each fall, salmon make a long, remarkable trek to spawn in streams and rivers across the Puget Sound region.
There are dozens of salmon-viewing events scheduled from September into December that likely offer the best chances of seeing salmon – particularly during a year when many stocks are returning in below-average numbers. There are several well marked places to view salmon in Issaquah Creek in the park, starting at the mouth of the creek.
To celebrate, King County is hosting a photo contest to highlight salmon and recovery efforts.
Share photos of your Salmon SEEson experience for a chance to win a two-night yurt stay at King County’s Tolt Macdonald Park!
