All Access Playground Wins First Place!
Lake Sammamish State Park and its amazing playground has been chosen by readers of Snoqualmie Valley-Issaquah Macaroni Kid e-newsletter to earn a first place in the annual Gold Daisy Awards.
Readers voted for their Most Loved Park or Playground, choosing Lake Sammamish State Park to be the top award recipient. This is the second year the state park has won first place. Si View Park in North Bend was this year’s runner-up.
Thank you to all who voted for our treasure of a park,” said Jennifer Adut, executive director of Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park. “Our organization was instrumental in bringing the playground to the park, and we are so pleased how much children and parents love it!”
Lake Sammamish State Park was also named runner up in the category of Most Loved Place for Family Adventure, second only to Remlinger Farms in Carnation.
