The best way to become a part of all that the park has to offer is with an annual membership to Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park. Only $25/ single or $50/family. Through Jan. 31, 2017 (or while supplies last), each $50 membership will receive a custom FLSSP beach tote as a thank you!

“Road to Rio” AVP Beach Volleyball Returns June 2-5 – Volunteer for the Inside Look!
The Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park is organizing the volunteer effort for this exciting event and is seeking volunteers from the community, age 12 and up. Volunteer duties include ball shagger, score keeper, volunteer supervisor, welcome center and statistics. Volunteers will receive a free t-shirt and food during their shifts.For more information, contact director@flssp.org.

The Heron Has Landed!
This custom 9-foot-tall blue heron has been fabricated and flown cross country from Denver. The heron will be the centerpiece of the new all-access playground coming to the park this summer. Watch out! The heron might just spray you when you walk by, keeping you cool on a hot summer day in the park!
